Physicians World GmbH appreciates your interest in our company, its services and your visit to our website. Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable visiting our site. Personal data are collected, processed and used by Physicians World GmbH in accordance with the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, abbr. BDSG).

Collection and processing of personal data

In most cases, when visiting our website, no personal data are required to be provided. The IP address currently used by your computer, date and time of your visit to our website, your browser type and computer operating system along with a record of the pages on our site which you access is logged. The data on your visit to our website which we store automatically in log files is used purely for statistical and security purposes. It is not possible to identify you as a person from this information.

Personal data (your name, address, phone or fax number or e-mail address) is only required if you register for an event or a closed user group. In these cases the collection of the required personal data takes place at your instigation

In accordance with current data protection laws and regulations, all personal data collected within the context of the Physicians World GmbH’s services are collected, processed and used only for the purposes of providing the services demanded by you and for protection of our own business interests with respect to providing these services.

Physicians World GmbH uses appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to protect the data we have under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction as well as access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are continually enhanced as new technology becomes available.

Upon request Physicians World GmbH will inform you in writing in accordance with applicable laws which personal data we store, if any.

In our public statement of data processing we summarize the information according to § 4e BDSG.
